During our Sunday School hour we have an opportunity to learn even more about God’s Word, the Bible. The men will meet in the multi-purpose room and the women will meet in the library, room # 103.
We hope you come and join us; the men are learning some great things from Alan White as he’s teaching from various Bible passages. He uses an interactive teaching format where the class is taught by him but everyone is encouraged to participate by sharing their insights and asking questions. You will learn much through your time here.
The ladies are being taught by Laurie King and Anneke Bennett. They are taking us through a great study by Jerry Bridges called True Community: The Biblical Practice of Koinonia. Fellowship among believers is more than just talking over coffee after church service. Biblical fellowship in the New Testament times was called koinonia in the Greek and had rich and varied meanings, including covenant relationship, partnership in the Gospel, communication with God and others, and the sharing of earthly possessions. This study will guide us through koinonia and examine the implications for today’s church. You will come away with a new appreciation for fellowship, the church, and what God intended the body of Christ to be.
Everyone is welcome to both of these great classes!
