We Love Kids

Our children are an important part of our FBC family and we take both their safety and biblical training very seriously. Psalm 78:4 urges us to “tell the next generation about the glorious deeds of the Lord, about His power and His mighty wonders”, so we want to support our parents by helping them love and teach their children to become fully devoted followers of Jesus Christ. Through the Sunday morning nursery and children’s church ministries, the yearly Vacation Bible School outreach events, and the Awana Clubs that meet here from September-May, we show that our kids are precious to our hearts and we want them to learn about the Jesus that loves them so much!

Our Youth Are A Priority

On Sunday mornings we study the Bible together with our youth to help them become what I Timothy 4:12 calls, “an example for the believers in speech, in conduct, in love, in faith, in purity.” This makes it easy for our parents to continue the biblical discussion at home throughout the week. Join us here at FBC for Youth Group on Thursday evenings at 5:45 PM, in a program that combines the AWANA Trek and Journey curriculum with some of our own. This is a safe place for our youth to feel a sense of community and belonging and where they can learn from the Bible who Jesus is and how much He loves them. Through group discussions, fun activities, and service projects they can discover what it really means to follow Jesus in their world.

10:30 AM   Youth Service (after the Worship music opener)

Caring Connections

In Hebrews 10:24 we are challenged to “consider how we may spur one another on toward love and good deeds.” At FBC we believe this type of life transformation takes place best in the context of small, intimate community groups where we really get to know, and also allow ourselves to be known, for the purpose of accountability, growth, and support. These groups provide a place where we study the Bible, ask questions, love, and pray for one another so we can become more like the Lord Jesus in our character. Come and join us at one of our home groups that meet during the week. Look on our events page or contact us for more information and to get plugged in!

O magnify the Lord with me, and let us exalt His name together

Becoming Women of Faith

As women we are very important to Jesus and He wants to use us to model a life of faith and minister His truth and His life to our families, to our church, and to the world. As women we want to help in this growth by offering relevant Bible study, personal application, and Christ-centered, caring community among our women. From our weekly Fellowship Cafe to our monthly Ladies Tuesday Night Connection and our yearly Ladies Retreat, there are a variety of opportunities throughout the year to connect and build relationship with other women. We hope you come join us as we have fun while we are becoming who God desires us to be. Contact us for more information and we will help you get connected.

Building Servant Leaders

Jesus modeled true leadership by humbly serving those around him. As men we should be learning from God's Word, praying daily and being faithfully involved in service in our local church, but our family must be our primary ministry. To support our men in this great work, we encourage them to grow into spiritual leaders in their own homes and men of Godly character in their workplace through the application of biblical truth and relational accountability. We offer different opportunities for our men to meet together throughout the year, our monthly Men's Breakfast is only one of them. We welcome you to come join us in becoming the men God has called us to be here at Fellowship Bible Church.

MOBILIZED TO SERVE

Because of the incredible gift of salvation we have received through the shed blood of Jesus, we have a responsibility to share that same good news of eternal life with anyone who will listen. Christ’s love compels us to go and share His love with others in our own community and to partner with those who are actively bringing the life-transforming truth of the gospel to those around the world.
We encourage and offer training to our FBC community on how to lovingly and accurately share the gospel with those they meet. We are also in the process of coordinating with some local ministries who are reaching out to people in difficulty by meeting their practical needs first, then using that to create an open door to share the truths that Jesus loves them and wants to change their hearts and lives.

At FBC we actively support these ministry partners. We encourage you to pray for them and help us keep giving financially to their ministries around the world.

Shuji Kondo

Shuji is the pastor of the Hamadera Bible Church in Osaka, Japan and he is honored to serve the Lord Jesus Christ there along with his wife, Mayumi and their children Takashi, Aimee, and Keishi.

He is a graduate of the Master’s Seminary in Los Angeles, California and he is faithfully training men, women, boys, and girls by the use of expository, verse-by-verse preaching from the Word of God. One of his great burdens is leading a generation of men to proclaim the glories of Jesus Christ to all Japan. Many of his church family lovingly call him the “Japanese John MacArthur” because he is so passionate about sharing biblical truth.

It comes as no surprise to us that the Lord is greatly blessing Shuji’s ministry in Osaka and we are excited to be a part of his support team here in the United States. How wonderful it is that the power of God is changing the hearts and lives of the Japanese people through the ministry of Shuji and his family.

Operation Christmas Child

At Fellowship Bible Church we love participating in Operation Christmas Child every year. This ministry of Franklin Graham’s Samaritan’s Purse International Relief, provides gifts of love along with the gospel truth of Jesus Christ to children all over the world.

Every year, under the passionate oversight of our Operation Christmas Child organizer, Laurie King, we are thrilled to be able, through the hard work of our volunteers and the generous giving of our people, to pack and ship more than 100 gift-filled shoeboxes to children all over the world who need to know how much Jesus loves them and we pray the Lord will provide the funds for us to double that number in the years to come.

It is truly amazing how God uses these shoeboxes to display the redeeming love of Jesus and often to build devoted Christ-followers in areas that have little, or no other gospel witness.

Alan White
Goodseed USA

Alan and his wife, Sandy, have enjoyed helping GoodSeed International since 2011. They were both raised in Christian families and came to know the Lord Jesus as children.

They met at Christian Heritage College and graduated in 1980 and 1981. Alan is also a graduate of Southern California Seminary. They served the Lord together in Turkey from 1986-2010, guiding Muslims to faith in Jesus Christ by leading them in evangelistic, chronological Bible studies and teaching them how to grow in their new faith.

In 2014 the Whites moved to Northern Idaho to continue serving in the translation department at the GoodSeed USA headquarters and we are thrilled to have them worshiping here with us at FBC. God uses the many resources on the GoodSeed website, including their “Learn about the Bible” online course, to help many people experience the love of Jesus.
